About our Designers
The Cacharel story begins in 1958 when Jean Bousquet settles down in Paris, in the sixth floor of a Haussmann building, to launch a line of pants for women. He knows how to get noticed and 5 years later signs the front cover of the ELLE magazine with the now famous pink blouse shot by Peter Knapp.
He also knows how to surround himself, and through his meeting and his collaborations, Jean Bosquet has created a romantic and poetic universe which today defines the famous ready-to-wear brand. At the end of the 60s, the liberty blouse is in and Cacharel is a fashion reference. It is a friendly brand which speaks to the women and accompanies them in their everyday life and discoveries of feelings and emotions. At the heart of their intimacy, perfumes seduce and consolidate the women in their femininity.
Fresh and feminine, Cacharel collections are composed of fluid and airy materials for a soft, colourful and vibrant result; an encounter with nature, looking for freedom.
